The non-loaded pit tannage gives our skirting leather a firm temper and allows it to cut and mold as well as accept dyes and oils evenly. The special blend of oils gives these skirting leather hides superior stamping and carving properties.
Uses: Western saddles, saddle skirting, tack, leather armor.

Latigo Leather Sides:
Our latigo leather hides are chrome tanned with a vegetable retannage resulting in some of the very best latigo leather we've ever seen. Drum dyed and hot stuffed with a special blend of oils and tallows gives this latigo leather a rich feel and helps to insure durability. Latigo leather hides are great for belts, harness, pet collars, tack, and strap applications.
